Before working as a psychotherapist, I worked for 23 years in the mental health field in both the statutory and the voluntary sectors. I have been working as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist since 1990. I have taught on the Master’s degree in Psychoanalytic Therapy programme at Sheffield University. For six years I was on the AGIP cinical committe and, as a result, I have extensive experience of assessing people’s suitability for psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I am bilingual in French and English and have experience of working in both languages. I can also work in Hebrew.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is a talking therapy for alleviating pepole’s suffering. People may experience emotions that they cannot understand or may find themselves acting in ways that are detrimental to their wellbeing. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy provides a regular time and confidential setting in which the client and the therapist work together to address and understand the reasons for these difficulties. I am registered with the United KIngdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and with the Midi Pyrénées Health Autority (ARS). I am a member of the Federation Francaise de Psychothérapie et Psychanalyse (FF2P) and also a professional member of the Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy (AGIP).

Degree: B.A. Psychology and French, B.Ed., M.A. Psychoanalysis
